About SPA-LTC

Strengthening a Palliative Approach in Long-Term Care (SPA-LTC) is a national program designed to support organizations in strengthening a palliative approach to care. In New Brunswick, SPA-LTC has been adapted to reflect the local context and the needs of nursing homes, special care homes, and other community care settings.

Through education, practical resources, collaboration, and ongoing support, SPA-LTC helps care teams build the knowledge, skills, and practices needed to provide compassionate, person-centered care throughout the palliative journey.
